In the summer of 1977, Bob Stewart trained his camera on the kids of East 7th Street. At the time, he was an East Village resident, working for the New York Metropolitan Baptist Association as a summer intern. Stewart, now a professor of journalism at Ohio University, revisits this time with an exhibit of 20 images that evoke the ordinary, steamy days of one hot New York summer. The Gallery is open for viewing through November during the following hours: Sundays: 10 AM – 12 PM, 6:30 PM – 8 PM Wednesdays: 6:30 PM – 8 PM Thursdays: 9 AM – 11 AM Gallery Promotional Flyer
