Scripture: 2 Kings 7:3-9
Overview: Four lepers, outcasts from their family and friends due to this dreaded disease find themselves sitting just outside the gates of the city Samaria, while every source of food and supplies are disrupted because of the seige against the city by King Ben-Haddad, and his armies. In these 4 lepers’ response to their situation, we can draw some conclusions about our personal response, or our church’s response to our world under seige by forces which would blind to the good news of the gospel. As it relates to being proactive with the good news of the gospel, we will be:
1. Sitters (v3)
2. Getters (v8), or
Preferably,
3. Go-ers and Tellers (of the good news!)(V9)
